Introduction :- Coronavirus which is generally known as covid-19 or Novel Coronavirus is a contagious respiratory and vascular disease. It is the new virus that is impacting the whole world badly. Covid-19 is now a cause of large number of deaths across the world. It causes illness in the respiratory system. It was first identified in December, 2019 in Wuhan china . In march 2020 WHO declared Covid-19 as a pandemic. Till now no proper drug or vaccine has been developed for treatment of this disease.
Symptoms :- Coronavirus is a very small but most harmful virus. its symptoms can be very mild to severe. Covid-19 symptoms include fever cough fatigue Breatihing Problem and loss of smell and taste. Some people don't have any symptoms. Most people recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Older people and those underlying medical problems like high blood pressure hear problem or diabetes are more likely to develop serious illness.
How covid-19 Spreads :- It mainly spreads though the air when people are near each other via small droplets. It also spreads when a infected person coughs sneezes or speaks. People remain infectious for up to ten days in moderate cases and 2 weeks in severe cases.
Preventive Measures :- Covering one's Mouth with a face mask when sneezing or coughing. Maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness. Maintaining social distancing in public places. Frequently washing hands with soap or applying sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes nose and mouth.
